Sauti Sol released their debut studio album ''Mwanzo'' on 4 August 2009, to critical acclaim. On 18 June 2012, the band released a self-titled extended play in collaboration with South African rapper and record producer Spoek Mathambo. Their third studio album, titled ''Live and Die in Afrika'', is still in production, under their imprint label Sauti Sol Entertainment, and is set for release soon.
